Friends of Dimond Park (FODP) ~
is a neighborhood group formed in 2015 with the goal of making Dimond Park more accessible.

With the passage of Measure KK in 2016 as well as the City's addition of Dimond Park to its priority list for 2017, our scope broadened to include all needed park improvements.

The City held a planning meeting on Dimond Park on January 21 to get park users' input on their priorities for the park (a summary of this meeting was published in the E. Bay Times http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/01/24/oakland-residents-voice-wish-list-for-dimond-park/).

The analysis of community priorities from this meeting will be published within the next few months & will be presented to the Neighborhood Council when available.  Meanwhile, FODP is planning a community work day on April 22 to spruce up the park.  we hope you can join us!
