Congratulations to the Oakland Beat 22X neighbors who came together to improve neighborhood safety by organizing and advocating for new stop signs at Lyman and Waterhouse!
This intersection has seen many dangerous collisions and much-too-close for comfort incidents with pedestrians. Neighbors were determined not to wait for the worst to happen before taking action.
This is the kind of change we can make when we reach out to neighbors and talk about what matters most to us.
