Help city investigators solve crime in our neighborhoods!
The Dimond Improvement Association (DIA) and the steering committee of the East Canyon 22X Neighborhood Council encourage anyone with a security camera to register it with the city through OakApps. Oaklanders can register both home and business cameras. Note: You still control the footage, and your permission is required before OPD looks at it.
Also, OakApps is linked to other Oakland programs, including 311 service requests.

You'll be asked to create an account, provide a username and password, your name, and contact information. Then you can register your cameras.
After you register, if you forward your confirmation email from the city, we will enter you in a drawing for a gift card to a Dimond business! Send your confirmation email to dia@dimondnews.org.
