Police Chief event points:

·                Impact Chief wants to make on Oakland

·                Chief wants to leave cultural impact

·                Chief ‘wanted’ the job in Oakland

·                Seems to have a POV about hard issues

• Acknowledging OPD earned distrust

·                Plans to get from under Federal oversight

General Meetings (Shikira, Alanya, Monica to plan)

·       Contact Wilson Riles for first meeting

·       ACW to show

o   Contact ACW office about points SC would like her to hit

·       Alanya to book GM meetings at Sequoia school for entire year in case library is not complete

Business:

·       Jamil attended Area 3 meeting but no other members showed. 

o   No f/u email received about meeting being canceled. 

·       Website

o   After Mission/Vision complete, will blast to 22x

o   Will add resources

·       Ben, new member (to be announced at next meeting)

Priorities:

·                Moved to develop and talk about SC Mission and Vision

• Discussion to carry over to Google Doc. for completed Mission/Vision

·                Will hold priority discussion for conference call in next week or two
