We have many community members presenting about their programs and projects, including:
- Yoona Kim will be presenting about Oakland's Neighborhood Law Corps and how they can help us create safer communities for all.
- Creighton Davis, chair of the Community Policing Advisory Board presenting about his vision for a stronger, safer, more welcoming community.
Several neighborhood groups will be providing updates, including:
- Neighbors for Racial Justice
- Friends of Dimond Park
- Dimond Improvement Association
We your 22x Neighborhood Council steering committee will be presenting about our vision for a CoNee G (cooperative neighborhood gathering) at Dimond Park in August.
And as if that wasn't enough, we're hoping to arrange a raffle for attendees! The plan is to provide a gift card for the new Puerto Rican restaurant on Fruitvale for a lucky raffle winner. (This is not yet set in stone, but we think it will happen!)
